The Library is happy to announce that we’ve recently purchased perpetual access to Proquest’s Historical Black Newspapers database . This unique resource offers , full-text primary source content from some of the most important historical black newspapers, including the Chicago Defender, New York Amsterdam News, Pittsburgh Courier, and many others. Patrons can access full-page and article images, and are able to easily download content.
