We know the days leading up to your campus arrival date can drag on, and that many students are eager to get back into the swing of things. With this in mind, we thought we’d give you an opportunity to channel your anticipation and creative energy. As part of our 2021 orientation offerings, the library is creating a new line of buttons to hand out. We’re inviting students to contribute button designs and vote for their favorite submissions. The winning design(s) will be made into buttons, which will be available in both Olin and SciLi during orientation week.
The rules are simple – design a 1.5″ button to help students show off their Wesleyan pride. We’ve pulled together button templates in a variety of formats, as well as a collection of images from the archives to serve as jumping off points. You can edit multiple images together, modify them as you see fit, combine them with your own art, or leave them altogether and design something completely your own.
Find templates and images in this Google Drive folder and let your creative energies flow!
Submit your completed design using this button design submission form by August 20th, then vote for your favorite submission the following week (we’ll post info on where to do this here and on our social media).
Have a question? Email Emily Voss (evoss@wesleyan.edu), Outreach and Engagement Librarian.
Happy designing, and we’ll see you back on campus soon!
