Wesleyan subscribes to LibKey Nomad, a browser extension that can help you locate the full text of articles when you are viewing a citation in a scholarly database or publisher’s site.
When full text can be found in Wesleyan’s subscribed resources, PubMed, or other full-text sites that Wesleyan has access to, a Download PDF or Link to Article icon will appear on the page which takes you directly to the full text. It also routes you through the library’s proxy server to enable access from off-campus, no matter where you started from.
To download LibKey Nomad, open the LibKey Nomad extension page in the Chrome browser and install it. After installing you will be prompted to select your institution. No additional configuration is needed.
This add-on doesn’t work for all of our resources but it does work for many. You must be in the Chrome browser to use it.
